My Practice

I am an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in psychiatry. As a nurse, I provide personalized and compassionate psychotherapy from a holistic perspective for individuals and couples ages 18 and older who are struggling to deal with life's challenges.   As an APRN, I also prescribe medication, when appropriate, in a collaborative manner with clients.
I have been a psychiatric nurse since 1992. I have practiced in a variety of settings including private practice, hospital (inpatient and consultation liaison), intensive outpatient programs, emergency room, and home care. I have provided care for individuals, couples, groups and families.
As a nurse, I take into account not only your mental health but how your physical health may be affecting you. The overall goal of treatment is to assist you in gaining/re-gaining a state of health and well-being.
